RedCap Kouga Wind Farm

The R1.8 Billion RedCap Kouga wind farm is an 80MW development situated between Oyster Bay and Cape St Francis. The wind farm comprises 32 No. 2.5MW Nordex wind turbine generators.

The project was developed in equal partnership between AfriCoast and RedCap Investments.

AfriCoast undertook Project inception, wind resource mapping, constraints mapping, turbine selection, access route assessment, permitting, land, legal, financial, bid preparation, conceptual design, construction management, commissioning and implementation.
